Fitting Guide/FAQ

Fitting Guide

Every woman’s bust and body size increases at different rates during pregnancy and nursing.  This simple guide below shows the two measurement s needed for the Didge Designs T-shirt Maternity Bra™.

1.  UNDERBUST
The underbust measurement is the width of the back and the diaphragm.  The sizing for each measurement is represented by a number e.g. 12, 14 or 16

*Clothing sizes and underbust measurements are not relative - you could be a 14B and wear a
size 12 top!

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  When should I start to wear my Didge Designs T-shirt Maternity Bra™?
We suggest around 12 to 16 weeks to be fitted with a maternity bra. Every woman is different and there are guidelines to make things easier. It is important to select a maternity bra that provides extra support during pregnancy and flexibility to allow for size fluctuations.

2.  How often should I have my fitting checked?
Depending on your bust development, 7 months is a good guideline.

3.  Can I wear my underwire bras during pregnancy?
The recommendation is to NOT wear your underwire bras during pregnancy. Soft cup bras offer great support and allow for growth.

4. How many bras should I get?
Two or three should be fine during your pregnancy. During breast feeding times you may want to have four or five bras due to the leakage you may experience.

5.  Do I wear my maternity bra to bed?
If you are feeling uncomfortable while changing sleeping positions in your sleep it’s a good idea to wear your Didge Designs T-Shirt Maternity Bra™ to bed.  This will also be handy for the night feeds.

6.  What is the best way to wash my Didge Designs T-Shirt Maternity Bra™?
The best and only way to wash your Didge Designs T-Shirt Maternity Bra™ is to hand wash it in warm water without fabric softener or bleaches.  Always remember to make sure the cups are not creased when drying. Never put your Didge Designs T-Shirt Maternity Bra™ in the dryer.
